Hi! I’m Carolyn Pongracz and I’m one of the administrative assistants for The Kate Broddick Team!
I’ve lived in Brantford since 2004 with my super awesome (and hunky) husband Mike who is a voiceover actor. Since then, we’ve settled down to raise our funny kids Owen and Juliana, and have really gotten to know the area. A lot of people are interested in the crazy well-known things my husband has done in his career, but I have a pretty wild and wacky career history myself!
Originally I graduated from college with a diploma in Early Childhood Education, and I worked at a group home for children & teenagers. But the curiosity-bug got a hold of me and I decided to go back to college to pursue another interest! I graduated from Radio Broadcasting and worked at a number of radio stations in Southwestern Ontario as a copywriter and producer. Not long after, I decided to go back to night school for Applied Photography, and in 2002 I started my own part-time business. It wasn’t long before I was busy enough with my company, In Bloom Photography, that I was able to leave my day-job at the radio station and work for myself at home while raising our kids.
Now that our kids are a little older, the bug to try something new has bitten me again, and that’s how I found Kate and her fantastic team! I am a huge organizational nerd, and have a knack for keeping all those “T’s” crossed and the “I’s” dotted! With an office as busy as this one, I’ve really found a great place to flex those nerdy muscles and work in an amazing, fast-paced setting. They call me “Mama Carolyn” around the office, because I really like to make sure everyone is taken care of and things are getting done! I’ve seen first hand how much Kate, Lisa, Ashley, Ally and Rebecca all care for their clients and their families, and I’m proud to say that I have joined this incredible group of women dedicated to their “family first” approach.
