January 4, 2019 4:00-5:00pm – Community Skate Exchange. Each Friday this month, drop by the Brantford Public Library’s Main Branch (173 Colborne Street) between 4-5pm. You can donate, exchange or get a pair of skates! Brought to you by the Brantford Parks & Rec Department!
January 4, 2019 6:30-8:30pm – Spidey. MAKE BELIEVE – MAGIC OF YOUR MIND Spidey has captivated the minds of people around the world with his tours across North America, eight international TV shows and 10 million online viewers. Spidey has performed on the stages of America’s Got Talent and Showtime at the Apollo. He was named US Mentalist of the Year 2017 and has performed for major celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Steve Harvey, Simon Cowell, Neil Patrick Harris, Penn&Teller and many more. This show will be taking place at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts and tickets are available on their website or at the box office.
January 9, 2019 6:30-8:00pm – Casual Knit & Chat. Every Wednesday evening 6:30-8:00 pm at the Paris Branch of the County of Brant Public Library. Everyone is welcome to attend this free meet-up of knitters and crocheters. Whether you’re an expert or just getting started, you are encouraged to come by and sit, chat and knit! Bring a loonie to buy tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Paris Library is at 12 William Street in Paris.
January 16, 2019 8:00-10:30pm – Upright Citizens Brigade Tour. The UCB Touring Company brings the best improv comedians from the legendary Upright Citizens Brigade Theatres to new audiences all around the country. Our flagship touring show is a 90-minute, unscripted and totally improvised performance. Four improvisers at the top of their game perform a high-energy, surprising and hilarious show that has never been seen before and will never be seen again. January 23, 2019 8:00-10:30pm – I Mother Earth & Finger Eleven. Two of Canada’s most successful and meaningful hard rock bands, I Mother Earth and Finger Eleven have teamed up for a cross Canada Tour. The two bands toured together across the country in their early days and have been friends ever since and this tour will have a really special feel. When you consider the number of combined hits from each band and combine it with their amazing live shows, this is a cross country run that will be full of heavy, melodic goodness.
