June 1-3, 2018 – 11th Annual Walter Gretzky Street Hockey Tournament. Thanks to your help, this annual hockey tournament has raised over $160,000 for the Ontario Lung Association, and this year is looking to be another record breaking year! Sign up your team at BallHockeyInternational.ca or come out to cheer at the Steve Brown Sports Complex at Lions Park – 20 Edge Street, Brantford.
June 8-10, 2018 – Find Your Spirit: 10th Anniversary of Harmony Square in Downtown Brantford. We’ve had 10 amazing years with Harmony Square in the centre of town, from winter ice skating to splashing in the fountains of summertime! This will be the place to be all weekend long, with loads of vendors and activities, live music and more! Come find out who the new Harmony Square Mascot will be, and take part in activities all throughout the downtown core. June 9, 2018 – Paris Historical Show & Tractor Pull. Starting at 10:00am, come out to the Paris Fairgrounds for this exciting day of events. Celebrating 47 years this year, there will be everything from a Super Power Pull to Kiddie Tractor Pulls, displays, vendors and more. Don’t miss it! Location: Paris Fairgrounds.
June 16, 2018 – Brantford Pride Celebration & Walk. Brantford Pride’s mission has been to provide Brantford and Brant County with a cultural and economically viable annual festival and to encourage participation from the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, in planning, implementation and enjoyment of Pride celebrations. June 21, 2018 – Taste of Glenhyrst. In its 21st year, this great evening event hosted by the Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant has become legend as the official opening of summer in Brantford, with live music, local restaurants, wineries, breweries and of course great art. Proceeds from this event go towards Glenhyrst Art Gallery and its many children’s programs, art exhibits, events, classes and workshops offered to our community.
